Guide To Hunting Camouflage

Hunting camouflage will differ based off of what kind of hunting you are doing. Different terrains will always call for different types of camouflage patterns as well. You'll find that even very experienced hunters probably have not worn every time of camouflage out on the market today.

In this article I am going to go over a few of the more popular hunting garments you can purchase to make your hunting experience more successful. Upon reading this article, you should have a solid understanding of the major types of hunting apparel available to you.

Before a hunter goes out to purchase new hunting apparel, he or she must ensure they know which kind of hunt they will be participating in. As soon as a person knows what they are doing, they will have a much easier time finding the appropriate hunting apparel.

When hunting for ducks in a wetland setting, you will have a very easy time finding camouflage. You will simply need to find some wetland camouflage in your size. Patterns using water reeds are also available for those that intend on getting down into the marshlands. Unfortunately, you'll find that choosing deer camouflage is not quite as easy as choosing duck camouflage.

You may find that you are hunting for deer in a wetland situation and will need wetland camo. In many instances deer hunters find that they need woodland camouflage for their particular types of hunts. Further still, you may find yourself in a wooded area covered in snow which will call for camouflage with a snow pattern.

Orange and black camouflage may be what is needed to keep a deer hunter safe in some areas. This type of hunting apparel is suited specifically to deer because of their lack of color vision. The pattern is great for keeping safe in heavily hunted public game lands where other hunters may mistake you for a deer. Luckily, the pattern is also great for concealing yourself from unsuspecting deer.

As you can see the type of hunting apparel you decide on will depend entirely upon the animal being hunted and the terrain being hunted in. Just be certain to keep this in mind and you'll have a much easier time determining the best hunting apparel. Richard Parra III CAMO Fight 2.19.2011
